Startup building to revolutionize food pre-ordering

FoodsDrive is a hungarian startup that wants to revolutionize the food pre-order process. The company has entrusted us with the development of an application that helps travelers to find restaurants along their route. After viewing the menu, the user compiles an order and pays by credit card. Restaurants monitor orders and modify their menu through the app or a web admin interface. The purpose of the completed system is to validate the startup idea in the market.

Affiliate system

The success of such applications depends on how many users they can attract in the beginning. We have developed the affiliate system for fast growth. After registration, each user gets a unique link which he or she can share with friends. When someone downloads this app through the link, both the inviter and the invitee receive a certain amount of coupons in their virtual wallet. They are able to use these coupons for their future purchases. In the development process, we have placed great emphasis on security and avoiding misuse of coupons.

Show restaurants along a specific route

The main problem was that it was difficult to find a suitable restaurant while travelling. The menus were not collected, and travellers had to find them by visiting places. The completed application provides a solution for this. After specifying the departure and arrival points the application searches for restaurants along the route and displays them on a map. The arrival time is calculated automatically or can be entered manually, so the restaurant makes the order upon arrival.

Lightning-fast order processing

Restaurant workers are reluctant to accept new solutions, so during the development, we made efforts to be able to learn how to use the app as quickly as possible. All registered devices will receive a text notification of new orders, as well as an audible and vibrating alert. When the order is opened, the system also sends a notification to the customer. Alternatively, a customer can cancel or modify the order on this interface.

Payment and invoicing system

FoodsDrive is a Software as a Service (Saas) with a business model where restaurants pay commissions from incoming orders. The difference is transferred to the restaurant's bank account at the end of the billing period. Payment is made for each order, so we have placed great emphasis on making this process safe and user-friendly. The application issues an invoice for the commission to be paid to the restaurant.
